You place this ceramic ring onto a lamp lightbulb. It sits on top, and warms up from the heat of the bulb. A drop or two of Esteban incence on the unglazed ceramic turns it into a diffuser.

Be careful not to knock it over after forgetting it’s on the bulb, because it will break if it falls to a hard floor. One of these in my living room takes care of the entire space andis completely invisible to guests (and takes up zero table top space).
